John Sampson

Victoria Naturally Communications Adviser
Phone: (03) 9341 6508 Mobile: 0421 633 299 Email: johns@vnpa.org.au
John Sampson is putting more than 10 years experience working on newspapers to good use, combining his love of words and images with a love of Victoria natural world. When you start looking at the land clearance maps of Victoria it really hits home how much habitat has been lost, especially in our grassland regions. There's a lot of work to be done to make Victoria a safe place for our native species to live.

Karen Alexander

Victoria Naturally Biodiversity Campaigner
Phone: (03) 9341 6511 Mobile: 0439 306 829 Email: karena@vnpa.org.au
Karen Alexander cut her teeth trying to stop the damming of Lake Pedder in Tasmania and is now working hard to make Victoria's biodiversity crisis a BBQ stopper. If we keep clearing what is left of our native vegetation and with the climate crisis bearing down then our kids, let alone our grandchildren, just won't see the Victorian landscapes that we do.

Wendy Roberts

Reef Watch Co-ordinator
Phone: (03) 8341 7446 Email: wrobert@museum.vic.gov.au
Wendy Roberts oversees this program which aims to increase our knowledge of Victoria's reef ecosystems by assisting Victorian divers and snorkellers to identify, record and share their observations about the marine life they see at their favorite reefs. Few Victorians realise that 85% of our marine species are found no where else in the world. Divers can play an important role in monitoring and caring for the reefs they survey.
