Over the past ten years no major progress has been made to better protect our marine environment.

Strengthening management and protection of our seas to international standards is an important first step in protecting this fragile environment from climate change and human impacts.

• Have a stronger vision for the marine environment and expand the terms of reference for the new marine inquiry so the entire marine environment is assessed.
