Bulldozers move in on legless lizard

One of Victoria's most significant endangered species, the Striped Legless Lizard, faces death by bulldozer as habitat hotspots are cleared for development.

Fifteen community and environment groups have signed a joint statement calling for an urgent review of failing plans to protect the lizard and the unique, critically endangered grasslands in the west and north of Melbourne.
